Terms and conditions

  1. ACCEPTANCE.- Making any reservation implies acceptance of these general conditions.
  2. USER.- The person making the reservation must be of legal age and is responsible for the veracity of the information provided.
  3. OPENING HOURS.- Our office's opening hours are from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm and from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Sundays closed and bank holidays we open mornings only.
  4. RESERVATION.- Reservations can be done by phone, e-mail or online in our website. The reservation is complete when the user receives the reservation confirmation with its reference number by email.
  5. OCCUPANTS.- The client may only lodge the maximum number of people as defined in the apartment’s characteristics and as per the contracted rate.
  6. ARRIVAL.- On the day of your arrival the apartment is at your disposal from 5 p.m. onwards and it has to be vacated at 10 a.m. on the day of departure. Arrivals after 8.00 p.m. are not admitted unless previously advised; a supplement will apply
  7. EQUIPMENT.- All our houses and apartments are equipped with: fridge, stove, oven, crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen utilities, blankets (if required), hot and cold water. Apartments are let without bed linen or towels. The client commits to leave the apartment in the same conditions as they found it upon entering in terms of furniture and equipment preservation.
  8. CLEANING.- The apartment shall be made available to the client duly clean and no additional cleaning service during the stay is provided. The client commits to leave the apartment clean, without rubbish or leftover food.
  9. PREPAYMENT.- The system requests the guarantee payment of a 40% of the total reservation’s cost by credit card or bank transfer. The reservation is subject to acceptance/confirmation of payment by the banking entity. The balance is paid upon check-in in cash or credit card or via bank transfer 5 days prior to arrival. In this case the client is required to present the transfer receipt upon arrival. 
  10. MODIFICATIONS.- We reserve the right to change the contracted apartment for one of similar or better characteristics in the event of force majeure, such as occupation or defects occurring after the date of the reservation. These changes shall be at no cost to the client. The Management declines responsibility for any printing mistake or any modification occurred after the publication of the brochure.
  11. GUARANTEE.- The client will leave a deposit in cash or by credit card as a guarantee in the amount specified in the reservation upon check-in. This deposit shall be reimbursed upon check-out, unless damages are found in the apartment, its furniture or equipment, or situations of extreme filth or rubbish. The cost for re-establishing the condition of the apartment upon check-in shall be discounted from the deposit. Additionally clients are required to leave their credit card number as guarantee to cover for any possible damages they may cause in the apartment or house, thus authorizing Global Service SLU to charge the credit card for the amount.
  12. COMPLAINTS.- Global Service Calafell will not accept any claims 24 hours after clients’ arrival.
  13. RENTAL PERIOD.- Minimal rental period is 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday in high season. In Low Season, minimum 4 nights stays (Easter excluded); a € 30,00 supplement applies.
  14. TAX ON STAYS IN TOURIST ESTABLISHMENTS: The amount of the reservation will be increased by a tourist tax for the first 7 nights, at 0.99 € per person older than 16 years of age.
  15. CANCELLATIONS.- In the event of the cancellation of the reservation GLOBAL SERVICE CALAFELL SLU will retain 20% of the total rental in the concept of compensation. For cancellations made less than 30 days before the proposed arrival date the total of the down payment may be retained. The reservations will be considered cancelled 48 hours after the proposed arrival date if no notice is given to the contrary, in which case no amount will be returned. The same applies in case of departure before the due date. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. If the client, due to exceptional circumstances of COVID19 such as lockdown, limitation of movement of people in Catalonia and border closure, is forced to cancel their reservation once it has been confirmed, Global Service Calafell SLU will charge 100€ + VAT for reservation and cancellation fees.
  16. INFORMATION/PERSONAL DATA.- All information provided by the user is saved on a secure server, and we guarantee that this information shall be accessed exclusively by reservation staff, and only for purposes of the reservation and to communicate with the client in regards to future promotions and deals.


The present pact prevails and replaces the established in the art. 26 of the Decree 159/2012 of 20th November of the Generalitat of Catalunya.
